Making Shabbat special is about being prepared.  We know several families that set the Shabbat Table on Thursday so when Friday arrives the entire family already knows that this evening is special.

Try to make it as festive as possible.  What the heck...break out the china and the candle sticks.  Make it an event.  And you know what...you get to do this each and every week.  Go ahead, try it for a month and see how much more connected you are to your family and your faith.
